The Minister of Health in Israel said that this is a historic day for the LGBTQ community. Back in July, the Supreme Court ruled that the ban on surrogacy for same-sex couples and single men violates their rights and should be repealed within the year. At that time, surrogacy was available only to heterosexual couples and single women. And finally, Israel canceled these restrictions, which was a final victory for activists for the rights of sexual minorities, and now all Israelis will have equal access to surrogate motherhood.
