The Derry couple first turned to Kyiv, Ukraine to arrange egg donation, but due to Covid-19 they had to stop working on it in Ukraine.

An advertisement in a local newspaper helped and an egg donor was found.

Patrick’s sister agreed to become a surrogate mother.

The couple felt understanding and willing to help them at all stages of pregnancy.

In the end, the couple became the parents of such a desirable child named Wren and wish everyone not to be afraid to follow their dreams.
