Gestational surrogacy in Ukraine

Gestational surrogacy is legal in Ukraine. It uses in vitro fertilization (IVF), which is when the egg and sperm of the intended parents or donors are taken if it is not possible to use one’s own.

Created embryos are transferred to the uterus of the gestational surrogate mother.

At the same time, the gestational surrogate mother has no biological connection with the child she is carrying.
