What is the process of surrogacy

The surrogacy process begins after the intended parents apply to a surrogacy agency.

First, the couple undergoes an interview with case manager and receives professional medical and legal advice related to the process.

After concluding a service contract with the surrogacy agency, with the help of thorough checks, a surrogate mother is selected.

The parties sign all necessary legal documents related to the process.

With the help of in vitro fertilization (IVF), embryos of the intended parents are created.

For this, the wife (or egg donor) takes medication to stimulate her ovulation, eggs are then removed from her ovaries under short anesthesia.

The eggs are fertilized with the husband’s sperm, and embryos are obtained, which are cultivated in an incubator for five days.

There are cases when donor eggs or sperm are used.

Meanwhile, the surrogate mother is taking medication to prepare for the embryo transfer.

After successful embryo transfer into the uterus of the surrogate mother, pregnancy begins, during which the surrogate mother takes medication to maintain the pregnancy during first trimester.

The process ends with the birth of a child.

Final step is obtaining documents for the child: birth certificate, passport, travel document, or court decree if required.
